Content of alpha-cellulose is approx. 95%. Because their ash content is not reduced during manufacturing processes they are intended for routine qualitative analyses.     They are offered in two groups: first one uses symbols: 3h, 3m, 3w, 288, 289, 290, 291, 292, 292a, 293 and includes filter papers of standard mechanical strength, second one uses symbols: 1288, 1289, 1290, 1291, 1292 includes reinforced filter papers which show mechanical strength when wet. They fit excellently to Buechner funnels and pressure filtration.
