Experiments with narcotics carry a lot of threats:
Drug dependence:
This is the most obvious for everybody, however frequently trifled threat. Not every trial leads to dependence. But each dependence begins from trial.
Permanent dependence is prompt physical and mental weakness and sliding into society margin. Long and heroic battle to return to regular life. Unfortunately, very frequently lost.
Overdosage:
Narcotics used as "uppers" of good fun are not always of the same composition. There are known examples of deaths of persons caused by overdosage. The direct reason was using tablets of other composition that caused delay of their action. Due to lack of perceptible effects, victims taken more doses, whose cumulative action led to death.
Intoxication:
Due to obvious reasons, narcotics do not subject to quality control. Even sporadic taking drugs denotes endangering health and life to the risk of intoxication with products of illegally run synthesis.
Since 1997, R&D Department of POCH S.A. develops the range of products provided to fight against endanger connected with narcotics.
Identification of psychotropic and dependence substances:
In 1997, we had implemented the set of fast tests used for initial identification of the substance. They are used by policemen and other services.
Rape narcotics:
Our response to growing endanger of – so called: "rape drugs" or club drugs is the test that allows prompt detection of one of most popular and most dangerous GHB nartotics. This test is effective to the wide range of beverages and condiments and detection limit is much more lower than dangerous concentration.
 
Psychotropic substances in hair - SpectroPrevent:
In 2007, POCH S.A. has actuated the mass spectroscopy analytical laboratory that offers services of determining the content of psycho-active substances and other agents in hair or other biological material. Our customers are lawyers' offices, insurance companies and parents, who, for the first time in Poland, have opportunity of reliable checking their offsprings from point of view of "experimenting with dangerous substances". Tests are made in our Laboratory, equipped with the highest class analytical equipment, where toxicity experienced employees are employed.
